Todd has driven across the US twice before, I’ve done it once before. So you would think we have a grasp on the size of our beautiful America….we drove from South Western Wyoming to South Central Michigan and it took 3 full days of driving. No sightseeing, just driving. Wow, you could go to your job and accomplish some big things in three days, but we, We DROVE.
We’ve seen miles of snow fences, beautiful homestead era homes, fields of sagebrush, and astounding landscapes. Don’t forget how beautiful and rich your country is. We are so blessed to live here.
Alpine meadows abound before the snow starts to fall in the Tetons.Entrance to the valley of Granite Hot Springs. The vast skies in Wyoming and Nebraska. To the right is a volcanic butte, as well as a small section of the miles of snow fences.Massive clouds in the Nebraska sky. What weather will they bring? We followed this truck carrying Washington onions for two days!Nebraska may be flat and their may be lots of corn, but there are some beautiful sunsets!Leaving the west. Now we’re in the center of our America!Alex couldn’t help herself, had to get a pic of alllll the green shades!Too bad we missed this!Classic Americana.
Todd dreams of one day having a house with a wrap around porch…
Lola- sandwiched between the original van vehicle and a humongous truck. Which is best???We stopped in Pittsburg to share our buildout with Todd’s cousin who did a van camper setup in the 90’s.The girls approve too!Pittsburg has lots of bridges, it looks a lot like Portland!
Welcome to Somerset, Pennsylvania! More family to see!Uncle Lou is doing great! So is his garden, WOW!
Thank you for the memories!
Craig also used to dream of living in a house with a wrap-around porch, but he settled for just a large front porch.
Well now I think I know where Todd got his dream for a wrap around porch!
